Jonah refused to share the prophetic message God committed to him and he ended up in a dark and lonely place, the stomach of a sea beast. But God was gracious and as Jonah 3:1 says, "Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time: “Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you” Jonah obeyed. He preached what God asked him to and an entire city of 120,000 people were converted. His success wasn’t based upon his skill or effort but rather that He preached what God told Him to. God has committed a prophetic message to us and is asking us to share it with a loud voice. Are we trying to escape to Joppa, the Spanish coastal town? Or are we hearing God and valuing His message and sharing it faithfully?
